EXPAT THERAPY
A Psychotherapy Practice in Central Amsterdam
About Me
Tiffany A. Gordon
MA Clinical Psychology (WITS)
Archetypal Pattern Analyst (Assisi Institute)

I obtained my Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). I am also a member of the Dutch professional association of psychologists (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen, NIP). I have completed an in depth training to become an Archetypal Pattern Analyst through the Assisi Institute (Connecticut).
I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, a country that is now defined by its diversity as well as its ability to change. Growing up and breathing in the culture of change allowed me to witness and experience first hand the challenges, bravery, pain, joy, and meaningful growth that transition and change can bring. It is this curiosity, respect for our uniqueness as individuals, and appreciation for self-reflection that I try to bring into my work.
My path to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, much like many journeys in life, was not linear, and my work in community-based settings, sustainable development, and teaching, contributed and very much influenced my desire to work therapeutically and assist in uncovering the potential we all possess. My willingness to explore has taken me across the globe and I have spent several years as an expat, living in London, Japan, and now Amsterdam. I understand not only the excitement and possibility of living as an expat, but also the difficulties of moving, settling, and feeling grounded in a new home. In addition, to my private practice in Amsterdam where I offer therapy in English, both in person and online.
